Looking for a fun, hands-on activity for your child’s birthday, school outing, or special day out? Our Kids’ Brigadeiro Workshop is the perfect chocolatey adventure—held in our cosy little shop just a 5-minute walk from Hatfield House (and only 10–15 minutes from the train station)!

In this workshop, children will discover the magic of making Brigadeiros—yummy chocolate truffles all the way from Brazil! With fun games, tasty treats, and lots of giggles, this is a memory-making experience your child won’t forget.

What to Expect:

Part 1: TASTE & DISCOVER

  • Blindfold Brigadeiro Challenge – Can you guess the surprise flavours?

  • Story Time – Learn about the origins of Brigadeiros

Part 2: MAKE & CREATE

  • Live Demo – Watch and learn the step-by-step process of making traditional chocolate brigadeiros.

  • New Recipe to Take Home – Each participant receives an exclusive recipe to recreate the magic at home.

Part 3: WRAP IT UP!

The final stage brings out everyone's competitive side:

  • Friendly Competition – Who can make the neatest, cutest, or most creative brigadeiros?

  • Rolling the Brigadeiros – Craft your own truffles by hand.

  • Folding Boxes & Packing Treats – Design your gift box with care and creativity.

 

 

 

 

Judging Criteria – Creativity, neatness, and the perfect shape and size.

Workshop Details:

  • Location: Emmy’s Brigadeiro, 3 The Broadway, Hatfield, AL9 5BG
    (Just 5 mins from Hatfield House & 10 mins from the train station – easy from London!)

  • Duration: 75 minutes

  • Group Size: Minimum 7, Maximum 10 children

  • Price:
    £30 per child (before 5pm)
    £35 per child (after 5pm)

    Includes a box of 12 brigadeiros (worth £20!) plus all activities and tastings
